Compliance status
The website has been tested against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standard.
This website is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 AA standard, due to the non-compliances listed below.
Non-accessible content
The content listed below is non-accessible for the following reasons.
Non-compliance with the accessibility regulations
Some images do not have a text alternative, so people using a screen reader cannot access the information. This fails WCAG 2.2 success criterion 1.1.1 (non-text content).
The skip link is broken, so people using a screen reader cannot skip to the main content. This fails WCAG 2.2 success criterions 2.1.1 (keyboard) and 2.4.1 (bypass blocks).
Some form labels are missing or empty, so people using a screen reader cannot associate these correctly. This fails WCAG 2.2 success criterions 1.3.1 (info and relationships) and 2.4.6 (headings and labels).
The contrast ratio on the focus state of the breadcrumb does not meet contrast ratio, so some people may struggle to see it clearly. This fails WCAG 2.2 success criterion 1.4.3 (contrast (minimum)).
There are arrows on some tables in the content that only appear when table headings are clicked, so some people may not know that functionality of these. This fails WCAG 2.2 success criterion 3.2.3 (consistent navigation).
There are some broken aria references throughout the website. This fails WCAG 2.2 success criterions 1.3.1 (info and relationship) and 4.1.2 (name, value, role).
Some tables are missing headers throughout the website. This fails WCAG 2.2 success criterion 1.3.1 (info and relationships).
There are some heading tags in the HTML which are empty throughout the website. This fails WCAG 2.2 success criterions 1.3.1 (info and relationships), 2.4.1 (bypass blocks) and 2.4.6 (headings and labels).
Some headings do not cascade properly throughout the website. This fails WCAG 2.2 success criterion 1.3.1 (info and relationships).
When JavaScript is disabled, some parts of the website is no longer visible, so some users may not be able to fully interact with it. This fails WCAG 2.2 success criterion 4.1.1 (parsing).
We plan to address all the above issues by April 2025. When we publish new content, we’ll make sure it meets accessibility standards.
